This is a really fun poster, featuring The Peanut Butter Conspiracy at Eagles Auditorium, which held some terrifc shows and produced some rather magnificant posters. Eagles Auditorium posters are rather difficult to find and my guess is there was a series of these posters produced as I have several with numbers on them.
This particular poster was handpainted in with psychedelic colors which makes it all the more impressive and something you could have studied for hours with the toads, fariy, Mr. Peanut and muskrats all concentrating on the game of chess. Now that is what I call a psychedelic experiece! |
